A Single Word, To Save The World

A single word uttered,
A thought only muttered.
A crash and a band,
Then the telephone rang.

Hello, he replied.
There’s a situation,
A problem with the tide,
That threatens the nation.

Why call me,
Why call here?
Because you are the key,
To making it disappear.

Not anymore,
That has been forgotten.
We need your help,
Before we lose the shore.

It’s only one word,
That has to be heard.
Alright, it’ll be said,
Or we’ll all end up dead.

A single word uttered,
A thought only muttered.
A crash a bang,
Then the world sang.

The tide receded,
He was no longer needed.
The word was said,
The message said.
